Mandatory Fee Arbitration Program The Santa Monica Bar Association is proud to participate in the State of California's Mandatory Fee Arbitration (MFA) Program. The MFA Program is an informal, low cost program for resolving fee disputes between people and their lawyers. Our program provides both arbitration services and mediation services for all parties. We are pleased to announce that the SMBA is now offering sponsorship for its 2026 events. We realize that you may plan your budgets annually, well in advance of our events; therefore, we want to provide you with ample notice of upcoming sponsorship opportunities.

The SMBA will be hosting annual events with available sponsorships including Judges’ Lunch, Judges’ Night, Summer Party, and Installation Dinner. In addition to these annual events, we have sponsorships available for events throughout the year including our networking mixers (Tuesday Toasts) and MCLEs.
